The basic design followed for crane end carriages:

• Wheel center is min. of 1/5th of crane span
• Shock Absorbers/Buffers are provided to minimize any impact stoppage
• In one set of end carriages – wheels are of one gear type and one plain type
• Gear drives are provided on gear wheels
• Bridge and end carriage couple plates are installed as per bridge width and rail center
• Proper arrangement of wheel replacement on site
